The book was disappointing because the substance was lacking. I expected more details. I bought these for my colleagues who were not familiar with Hindu Temples. I thing one can get more from what is available on various websites. Artwork is very good.

Written in a simple and straightforward manner, the book demystifies, what may at times appear as complex, Hindu tradition and thought. It also sets right many, widely held stereotypical beliefs and gross misrepresentations about Hindu religion. Well researched and wholesome, this book is an excellent introduction to the world's oldest religion.A "must have" for school libraries and class rooms where world religion is taught.
