Robert A. Brechner was Professor Emeritus, School of Business, at Miami Dade College -- the largest multi-campus community college in the country. My experience buying the book online, receiving it in the mail, and the book itself were all excellent. The book arrived on time, and in the condition advertised. The book is very well written!! My son is using it in a business math course in community college. I only wish every highschool student could learn the material in this book to prepare them for adult life. For example, It prepares you to bank successfully, including balance checkbooks, and it also seems to be a beginning course in Economics.
I didn't realize that they cut out 3 chapters.... Ch 15 and ongoing are not on this digital. I did not realize this was a Brief Edition. Overall it is a good purchase but thanks to my professor, he had powerpoints to the last chapters I needed.
Do not purchase the kindle edition rental. The Book rental Chapters on the kindle edition stops at chapter 14, but the actual book chapters goes all the way to chapter 21. So, if you do not want to fail the course, do not buy the kindle version.
